Does anyone know of a good car A/C shop around the core? I need to get my A/C fixed and would like some recommendations if anyone has any.
Thanks
He's not in the core, but this is a great shop near Regency. He's honest and the cheapest I have found. In most situations, he has been as cheap as trying to do the repair myself.

Thanks, So far over the phone they are the cheaper than the other "cheap but good" one I was recommended.

What's the trouble with it? Not that hard to fix yourself usually. The only thing that isn't real easy on car ac's is the evaporator, always let a shop do that since they'll have to pay for whatever pieces of the dashboard get broken during r&r. But depending on the car, most everything else is pretty easy.
It's an Acura RSX and the compressor/clutch (that is locked up) is buried in the engine bay. I usually do all my own work but in this case I decided that a few hundred dollars in labor is worth having not to deal with it.
I didn't end up taking it to best, I went to another shop that a coworker recommended that was actually quite a bit cheaper.
RPM Automotive
Pulido's (across the street from Bishop Kenny) fix my a/c a few weeks ago. Did a great job in one day. Explained the work and related costs very clearly. The owner even gave me a ride to work when I dropped my car off.
I'll have to add that one to the list JN - Now I can drop my car off to be repaired will having a bone set and then afterwards order up some blackbean soup and a half a cuban.
Dr. Pulido has an awesome walk-in clinic next to his parents restaurant. If you have average insurance but don't have a GP, I thoroughly recommend going there for whatever ails you.

maybe you should order a few mojitos instead of the black bean soup - it would be a better remedy for the arm pain.
