Oasis Jacksonville, The GLBT Center of Northeast Florida has now received their 501(c)3 status as of May 2011 and has been granted that status back to the inception of Oasis Jacksonville in September 2009.
The Center is located at 323 East Union Street in Downtown Jacksonville. The main purpose of the Center is fourfold: Safe Space, Community Calendar and Website Information, Health(HIV/STD testing site and partnership with the Women's Center) and Education and Community activities(Lecture Series, AA meetings, Jacksonville Men's Chorus rehearsal, SAGE,Services and Advisory of GLBT Elders).
