QuoteDuring the "bad" times of Jacksonville, lot of independent non-profit organizations has popped up like RAP, MetroJacksonville, UrbanJax, and much more to try and alleviate the current issues. Would you be willing to allow them to send their own representative to consult and allow them to fill you in on their issues and solutions to it?

Good Question Josh.

But I think he totally doesnt understand the difference between our civic organization and the traditional not for profits.

I don't blame on Brown. Timothy (TU) twisted MY question around. I am going to ask them again much clearer way.

What was Brown's answer?

I'm not looking at the transcript right now, but he said something along the lines of "the non-profits are the backbone of our city."  And then he (Alvin) went on and named the Sulzbacher Center, Clara White Mission and City Rescue Mission as examples of what he was talking about.  Not exactly the same types of examples Josh was referencing.

QuoteBrown in response: Non-profits are a backbone of our community. They are in the community and add value. Sulzbacher Center, Clara White Mission, City Rescue.

Brown: All of those play a major role in maintaining and improving the quality of life in our city. I will work with them and will continue to meet with them while in office.

Here you go. Now I want to see the video playback.

That's because Tim, the interviewer was so kind to twist my question around that Brown didn't understand what exactly our organizations are about, not the traditional ones.
