Title: A very close call
Post by: Ocklawaha on May 22, 2011, 01:23:46 AM
Sorry folks I really intended to stay in conversations on downtown and several other threads today but 3 year old grandson ate 6 Naproxen Tablets and got an ambulance ride from WGV to Wolfson. Fortunately the little guy is going to be fine, they did extensive testing, blood, etc... and poison control "observed" from Atlanta. I never knew they got involved in individual cases but they do! Cool! He had to get an all-clear from each doctor and poison control before continuing his quest to dismantle this house, block by block.

It is now past 1 am, and hopefully I'll be able to catch some of these conversations, see you there!

Ock,  It's not just your grandkids who do that sort of thing!  Our new niece and nephew got into their mom's hormone pills a couple of years ago.  The doctors had to empty them out so they both wouldn't sprout breasts at ages 3 and 5.
