Title: Abundance of Graffiti lately
Post by: peestandingup on May 13, 2011, 05:56:42 AM
Driving through the neighborhood yesterday, I noticed a ton of new ugly tagging graffiti (not the artful kind). Main has a lot, including the "We're For Jesus" building & on the roof siding of 15 West Sixth lofts (Lake's project I believe). Don't know how they pulled that one off unless they somehow got access to the roof, but its huge & you can see it from Main.

Saw a lot randomly through the neighborhood too that I never noticed before on mostly abandoned homes/buildings.

The graffiti on Lake's has been there since March, unless of course it was removed and this is new over the old.  I meant to tell him, but forgot.

Graffiti is odd in Historic Springfield.  I would see it on the trains, and that was it.

I have a guy painting over mine.  He was supposed to do it the other day but I haven't been through to check up on it.  Will do, later this evening.

Yeah, I saw yesterday that it was gone, Lake.

How did someone get all the way up there?
