QuoteMan killed by alligator, medical examiner confirms
By Sofia V. Santana | South Florida Sun-Sentinel
Miccosukee Indian Reservation - The Miami-Dade Medical Examiner's Office on Wednesday determined that a man found dead in a lake outside Miccosukee Resort and Gaming was killed by an alligator.
The case marks the first fatal gator attack in the state this year.
The man jumped into the lake the night of Nov. 8 while running from police, who said they caught him and another man breaking into cars in the parking lot of the resort and casino, at the northwest corner of Krome Avenue and Southwest Eight Street in western Miami-Dade County.
Miccosukee police divers searched the lake through the night, but it wasn't until the following day that they found the man's body, the upper torso covered in alligator bite marks.

I wonder what would be a good newspaper headline; I can see it..."The Scales of Justice" or "Capitail Punishment". That was cheesy. :D What a waste to put those gators down. :(
Sounds to me like justice was served. Honestly, replacing electrocution with "death by alligator" would be a better crime deterrent.

Now there's a case with some meat in it! The jaw's of justice capture another thief! Hey do you think we could get animal control to transport that gator to Avondale? Talk about taking a bite out of crime! Tribal justice is tough but Gator justice is absolute...
Sometimes it's the little things in life that are so sweet...
