Our resident history folks will have fun with this collection.  Many pictures that I have not seen before.  Many of Downtown and probably La Villa.  Looks like a bunch from WWII bases also.

Furchgott's Department Store. Employs large number of youngsters as cash boys and wrappers. Counted nine apparently under 12. One was 9, he said, and other 11. You[n]gest work for $3. a week. Location: Jacksonville, Florida.
