Thanks to metro jax for the overwhelming support of Audrey Moran. To those who supported other candidates I am glad you had an interest in at least reading my views and I respect yours. Personally and on behalf of our entire family , we are heartbroken. Just heartbroken. The what if's are endless and haunt me. Audrey Moran is an incredible leader and Jacksonville really missed an opportunity for greatness. Audrey needs to take a few days off. For all at metro jax that supported her , thank you. I am more heartbroken over this than when I did not make it. Most of all I thank Audrey for her tireless and selfless work to run. What a mayor she would have been. :'(
Matt, I truly feel the same way. Heartbroken is a good way to put it.
Thank you for your support of Audrey, as well, Matt. Jacksonville is truly lucky to have you.
Btw, I am waiting to hear what Audrey thinks before I vote may 17th.
Matt, you are a class act, as is Audrey. Hopefully we haven't missed an opportunity for greatness, as you put it, instead maybe we've just delayed it by 4 years.

Agreed Matt...I (and several other Audrey supporters) have been approached about helping Alvin Brown...I am awaiting cues from Audrey to determine whether this makes sense.
Thanks for all of your hard work. Count my family as among the many disappointed residents of Jacksonville. I plan to vote for Brown at least he has some vision for the city. I just hope the state Democratic party puts some money into his runoff campaign like it did for March 22. If it just leaves him hanging then I see a repeat of 8 yrs. ago.
Thank you Matt and Audrey. You are both going to still be around and part of the city. The fight is not over!
Strike One: Failed to elect Matt Carlucci
Strike Two: Failed to elect Audrey Moran
Strike Three: We all know what that means for Jacksonville. Let's hope it never it comes.
I wonder who had been promised jobs by Moran and Mullaney? Those are the ones who should be really heartbroken, imo.

or maybe just people who cared deeply about making our city a better place
Be assured. No jobs promised by Moran. She has an incredibly selfless team. Very unified and no squabbling. No firings and no one quitting. Everyone together solidly for 2 years. An incredible feat. All just wanted her to be mayor!!
I wonder if she had run as an Indy if it would have made any difference.
perhaps.. perhaps not, but I do hope sometime in the future , she runs again. Thank you Matt.
Audrey is loved and admired by us in Alvin's camp-but this was either/or here, and we must remain focused on the change we know Jax needs.
