Title: Border's Books files bankruptcy: Southside location to close
Post by: thelakelander on February 16, 2011, 06:13:45 PM
Sleiman may want to put a hold on new strip mall production.  Soon we'll have another suburban empty box to fill.

QuoteBorders Group Inc. announced today that it has filed for Chapter 11 bankruptcy protection and will close its Jacksonville Borders bookstore as part of its reorganization.

The 25,000-square-foot Jacksonville store is located at 8801 Southside Blvd.

The chain filed in a New York bankruptcy court this morning and announced in a release that it will close 30 perecent â€" nearly 200 â€" of its 644 U.S.

no lake...if we just reduce impact fees, Sleiman can build several one million dollar shopping centers!

Yes, near the Avenues (otherwise known as new Regency).
