Title: Found: COJ.net 2.0?
Post by: Jimmy on January 24, 2011, 04:13:07 PM
Doing some digging around the internets today, I came upon http://www3.coj.net/

Maybe this isn't new news, but I haven't seen anything about this new and improved (and in testing?) version of the City of Jacksonville website elsewhere yet.

It's not quite ready for prime time yet, but it's looking much better than what we have now.

I took a look but seems to me to be more of a "City of Johnny Boy.NET" site then anything else.

Once it rolls out, you will be able to look up Rezoning and Land Use Change applications on line, through GIS.  Also, I hear that all applications will have to be made online.  No word on Variances, Deviations, etc. - maybe they come later?
