Title: Jacksonville Crime Map
Post by: acme54321 on January 21, 2011, 02:29:52 PM
I saw a google maps type of crime map a while back, it was aimed at springfield but I think worked all over town.  Does anyone know where to find that?

Thanks Ock, I had found that one, not the one I'm looking for.  This one was like google maps style with color coded dots at each adress according to the crime that was committed there.

JSO Crime Analysis Unit is working on that right now and in a couple of months will roll out a version that will be accessible on line.

See http://peoria.il.crimeviewcommunity.com for an advance look.

Hey you know this isnt a crime map but I found it in the "development" area of the myspringfield.org website. Its a story on crime going down maybe it has something helpful http://www.myspringfield.org/General/springfields-perception-vs-reality-part-1-of-3-crime.html
