Here we go boys and girls... get yo popcorn ready! Lets get em! :)
On a side note... if you are going to a sports bar to watch the Jags, the game may be on the small screen... Tebow starts for denver today... :D
Austin Collie cleared to play... Garrard Hammie taped and shot with pain killer, MJD knee is as good as it will get this time of the season...
I know you were joking BT but the Tebow game is at 4:15 and local Fox 30 is scheduled to show ATL-SEA. I'll be watching NFL Redzone which will cut to it when something significant is happening.
Not a good start... TD in 82 yds and 8 plays. Gotta come back and get 7
First series... 3 and out with a sack. Cmon D...
Colts... 3 and out. Nice stop D.
End of the first quarter... nice drive by the Jags... BALLSY call by Del Rio on 4th... gotta punch it in for 7.
Had to settle for 3 but proved they could move the ball... Cmon D... get another stop!
Manning to Collie...TD. Nice sack but was only a small bump in the road. Offense needs a TD...
Have to call BS on the O pass interference
yesssssss
The fair catch (not) had me fooled too... Ill take it tho!
damn, thrid times a charm for collie. hope he's ok, but he should not come back this season
Del Rio was ballsy before... have to say that was foolish and now the wheels are coming off. The D needs to hold or this may get out of reach... :-[
Horrific call by Del Rio on that 4th and 1.
Special teams royal eff up... only costs 3 points. We need seven and we need it this possesion.
Wahoo! Three great plays! Lewis is a monster! TOUCHDOWN!!!!!
Nice defensive stand!
Damn... that pick not only cost 3 points... it cost... momentum.
Nice punt... I see a pick six for the Jags!! please...
Running out of time... how about another punt return for a TD...
2 minute warning... can we get the TD? can we recover the onside kick?
Great TD... awful onside kick... DAMN! This one is over... gotta win the last two of the season.
^^^ yeah Im not too upset. Like I said before, I think we were aiming a little to high. A 10-6 record and tie number one spot with colts (although they will be the champs) is fine with me. But you never know, fate may be on our side. Still huge improvement from last year, and through the mistakes they never give up. great group of guys.
I think we all just became Oakland fans.
And Steeler fans
We definitely got outcoached in this game just like vs. the Giants. Did anyone notice how the Jags secondary was terribly outta position on the early Collie TD's; TIME TO GET RID OF THE ZONE DEFENSE!!! Manning was making Swiss cheese of that zone defense. Notice how much better the Jags secondary played later in the game when they switched to man defense. Rashean haters can't blame him for this lost; He played well, and Considine looks like he should get demoted to the UFL.
I'm no offensive coordinator by no means, but if you happen to go for it on 4th down in your own end (dumb decision BTW) Why not run a QB sneak with a powerful running QB, instead of running a RB Toss which allows Indy's elusive, fast lateral speed LB's (like Brackett) to make the tackle on MJD? Everybody knows the best way to run at Indy is straight forward!
Over aggression is a weakness, and we were exposed!!!Last play of the third quarter, I'm screaming RUN MOJO!!!, No, Garrard throws a crucial pick; That reminded me of the NYG game 4th quarter before the 2:00 warning, I'm again screaming RUN MOJO!!!, and Garrard stepped back to pass and took a big loss on a sack.
I'm gonna be the biggest Raider fan on Sunday. Overall a bad day for the NFL teams in the sunshine state; Atleast the Jags lost to a contending team, can't say that for MIA & TB.
I'll also be the biggest Raider fan on Sunday, but even if the Jags sneak into the playoffs, it will be tough not to consider it a fluke. As a great man once said, To be the man, you have to beat the man, and until we take out Indy in a truly big-game situation on the road, the division is still theirs.
Quotebut even if the Jags sneak into the playoffs, it will be tough not to consider it a fluke.
Remember folks... if they win the next two or even one of the two... this season should be considered a success. No One... not one of us... reasonably expected the Jags (at seasons start) to make the playoffs this year. My prediction was 8-8 at best. NONE of the "experts" picked the Jags to finish anywhere but last in the division. They have made remarkable progress and some productive off season moves and draft picks should brighten their future even more.
I agree not with just the season, but also with the fans. I think they won some new fans this year. We still have work to do though.

Totally agree.
Monday night game aside, has their
ever been a more exciting season when it comes to home games?
Nope every win has been a nail biter to the final tick on the clock.
I have to give it to the offense for continuing that last drive with some zeal after the botched onside kick.
I agree with what others have said, WAYYYYY too many mistakes. The two things I knew had to happen in order to beat the Ponies never materialized, pressure Manning and run, run, run! We couldn't do either one but still held on for most of the game. I also thought Garrard looked pretty good. Just wish MJD could have broken loose.
It's all old news now. Washington is next in OUR HOUSE. Time to put our money where our mouth is and stomp then into the turf!
With Rex Grossman as their QB the Jags may sell a few more tix than otherwise...
Well as of today we only have 761 tickets to go. weve sold over 4000 in about a week and half. (or less). Its going to be a packed house sunday. And Im sure its going to be mostly Jags fans. The redskins are like 5-9. Im sure their fans are excited enough to travel this far for a game. I know I wouldnt. LOL

oh yes...the power of the mighty Gators!
He's a Gator? NO love for Rex, now if the Tee was starting we may have to take the tarps off,,lol.Anyway its been a fun season.
^^^I agree Keith. It has been very exciting. Im actually over this season. Im ready for next year. If we start of better next year, I see big things for this team. We have a great squad on offense, so I dont see them going anywhere. Which means they had time to develop. Pot roast, tyson and Campman are great, but the rest of the defense needs to be revamped again. The crew we have now is NOT cutting it.
