Did anyone read the Business Journal article on this? The VisitJacksonville group has a new CEO.

Well the new director has 2 out of 3 projects that will propel us into the next 100 years. Sadly it appears that he missed the heritage streetcar line and museum, something that national numbers say would return $14.00 in new developments for evey $1.00 invested.
...And that museum? I still think the Sax Seafood (stillborn $2 million dollar restaurant) in LaVilla is positioned to grab people off of I-95 better then ANY OTHER streetcar, train or transportation museum in the country. Add in The Ritz Theater, Jacksonville Terminal and "Ray's Southern Fried Music Center" and we'd have a hell of an engine in downtown.
As for the "spaceport" tourism? We'd fare better with a water mellon seed spitting festival...
