Great find Lunican!  Putting the Universe in perspective shows just how small/insignificant/vulnerable this tiny blue marble is.  It also shows me that life... is very likely common within the billions of galaxies out there... :)

It is mind boggling at both end of the scale.  What a terrific presentation.  Even Tufte would approve.

I learned more from this presentation than in college physics!!
