Is there anything going on at any of the bars or anything? I know this probably isn't the best use of the forums but I figured it would be the best way to find out if anything is going on.
Well the good news is our downtown is already dressed up like something out of a post-apocalypse Sci-Fi movie...
Think of all the money having this dead urban core must be saving us in halloween decorations!
Maybe this year I'll go as a parking cop?
I am sure all of the downtown bars will do their own version of a Halloween Party. As for The Ivy, ours will occur on Thursday the 28th. Costumes are highly encouraged and last year we saw many high end costumes so a little effort is also encouraged. Aslo, the Gor-e-ography Film Project will be showing at The Florida Theater that night and the after party is at The Ivy as well. The crew and cast are coming in full costume and make-up. It should be a lot of fun! We will be decorating the bar beginning tomorrow. Hope that helps you out a bit.

Dos Gatos will be celebrating Halloween all weekend long as well...
Saturday night will be a FL/GA post game Halloween party, and on Sunday we're doing a service industry party called S.I.N.ner's Ball, but of course everyone's welcome; there'll be a DJ, drink specials, costumes, spooky music, the usual!

i'm glad to see we haven't all forgotten halloween--so many people go so crazy over that ridiculous bunch ov mentally deficient closet cases that beat up on each other every october that sometimes i worry downtown jacksonville will collectively decide to skip ahlloween altogether in favour ov murdering people for cheerin for the 'wrong' team.
