Steve Williams nears closing on another Five Points staple

Talked to Richard the other day about this. He said he doesn't think Williams intends to keep the current space. We will see though. In the least, he probably wants to use the parking around the building for Hoptinger and the bars at night. Would be a great spot along Oak for an apartment complex one day.

Steve has posted on FB that he is looking for ideas and possible partners.  They definitely do want to use some of the parking for Hoptinger (I think Albertelli alluded to this in an interview), but they want something cool on the site as well.

Riverside needs a good breakfast place. Einsteins is meh and Derby does some brunch but a good breakfast/brunch spot could kill.

Are you kidding? The Riverside snobs don't want to have to go to Avondale, let alone walk there, its like 2 miles away from 5 points and a $5 Uber ride or $4 round trip on a bus, if you ever see one....

Good for Steve, even though he lives in Avondale. Valentino lives in Fairfax Manor, see a pattern here?

His Instagram account showed a shipping container concept the other day. ;)

Somebody must have heard our complaints about the Resident's website, because they have finally started putting up content.  More info about Steve's shipping container sandwich shop concept.
